Questions this guide answers

  • Where can I see the essential chart facts?
  • What does today’s snapshot summarize?

Before you begin

  • A complete active birth profile.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Confirm the profile

Check the active name and birth facts before reading the overview.

Expected result: The intended profile name and its source birth facts are visible above the overview.

  2. 2

    Read the natal essentials

Review Lagna, Moon sign, Sun sign, Birth Nakshatra, and the supporting labels shown on the page.

Expected result: Lagna, Moon sign, Sun sign, and Birth Nakshatra are visible together for the active profile.

  3. 3

    Read today’s essentials separately

Treat the daily snapshot and personal-day signal as current context, not as replacements for the natal chart.

Expected result: The current-day values remain visibly separated from the profile’s natal essentials.

  4. 4

    Open the deeper owner

Use Birth Chart for full placements, Dasha for timing, and Panchang or Tarabalam for detailed daily planning.

Expected result: The selected specialist page opens with the active profile context where that tool requires one.

Where the values come from

Natal essentials come from the saved astronomical birth calculation. Daily essentials use the relevant current date, place, and personalized context.

If a value looks wrong, correct the source birth details rather than editing a displayed interpretation.

Simple view, not reduced accuracy

Basic Details is a concise reading surface. It hides depth, not calculation precision. Use the linked specialist pages when you need evidence.

Troubleshooting and recovery

The page asks for a profile

Select or create a complete profile, then return. This overview cannot calculate natal essentials without birth data.

Today’s location seems wrong

Review the current-location personalization and the date or timezone used by daily tools.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sun sign the main sign in Jyotish?

Not by itself. Lagna, Moon, houses, planetary strength, divisionals, and timing are all central to a Vedic analysis.
