Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Vedastram, including the website, dashboard, reports, APIs, subscriptions, credits, and related services.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, generating a report, or otherwise using Vedastram, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Vedastram is operated by Akhil Alur, sole proprietor doing business as Sri Akhil Software Solutions ("we", "us", or "our"). This is a sole proprietorship. The legal proprietor name provided for these Terms is Akhil Alur. The business or trade name is Sri Akhil Software Solutions.
If an invoice, payment receipt, app listing, or product surface uses the Vedastram name, these Terms still apply to your use of the service.
Accounts and eligibility
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating profiles, birth details, billing details, or practitioner records.
- You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent authority to use client data, or submit data you do not have permission to process.
- If you use Vedastram on behalf of a business, school, platform, or client, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization or client workflow.
Astrology, AI, and professional advice
Vedastram provides Vedic astrology calculations, interpretive reports, compatibility analysis, dasha timelines, numerology, chakra analysis, and AI-assisted explanations for educational, reflective, and spiritual guidance purposes.
Outputs can be incomplete, interpretive, or affected by inaccurate birth details, ambiguous questions, model limitations, ephemeris settings, or user-provided context.
- Do not treat Vedastram outputs as medical, legal, financial, investment, tax, mental health, emergency, or other licensed professional advice.
- Do not delay urgent care, safety action, legal deadlines, or financial decisions because of an astrology or AI output.
- Practitioners remain responsible for reviewing, editing, and ethically communicating any client-facing interpretation.
Payments, subscriptions, and credits
- Paid plans, add-ons, and top-up credits may be billed by Vedastram or by an authorized payment processor.
- Subscription features, allowances, rollover rules, and credit usage can vary by plan and billing interval.
- You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for purchases, renewals, taxes, and applicable fees.
- Cancellation stops future renewals unless stated otherwise in your billing portal, but it does not automatically create a refund for past charges.
- Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy linked from this page.
User content and birth details
You retain ownership of the birth details, questions, notes, profile information, and client materials you submit. You grant us permission to process that content as needed to provide, secure, improve, and support Vedastram.
You are responsible for having any required consent before entering another person's personal data, birth details, or client materials into Vedastram.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or interfere with Vedastram systems.
- Do not use Vedastram to harass, discriminate, threaten, exploit, or make harmful determinations about a person.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or privacy-violating content.
- Do not resell access, share API credentials, bypass plan limits, or automate usage in a way that harms service reliability.
Third-party services
Vedastram may use third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, email, AI inference, location search, and infrastructure. Those services can have their own terms and privacy practices.
We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or integrations outside our reasonable control.
Intellectual property
Vedastram, its software, visual design, generated product interfaces, documentation, and brand assets are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
You may use reports and outputs generated for your own personal, client, educational, or business workflow, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
Service changes and availability
We may update, suspend, remove, or limit parts of Vedastram to improve reliability, comply with law, prevent abuse, or change our product offering.
We aim to keep Vedastram reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Termination
You may stop using Vedastram at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, misuse personal data, fail to pay fees, or use the service unlawfully.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, intellectual property, and dispute provisions, will survive.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Vedastram is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or reliance on astrology or AI outputs.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the issue informally. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will handle disputes that cannot be resolved informally, unless applicable law provides a different required forum.
