Profiles and client workspace
Search, group, import, select, follow up, share, archive, restore, and safely manage repeated client-chart work.
Questions this guide answers
- How do I manage many profiles?
- What happens when I select a client?
- How do import and archive work?
Before you begin
- Sign in. Client and practitioner workflows may depend on plan availability.
Step by step
- 1
Find the right record
Use search, filters, groups, priority nudges, and grid or list view before selecting a person.
Expected result: The client list narrows to records matching the chosen search, filter, group, or saved view.
- 2
Create or import carefully
Add one profile manually or use import preview to resolve missing fields, invalid rows, and duplicates before committing.
Expected result: A manual profile appears in the workspace, or import preview separates ready, invalid, and duplicate rows before commit.
- 3
Select the active client
Choose a record only after confirming the identity and birth facts. The selection changes global chart context.
Expected result: The selected client is identified as the active context before other chart-backed pages are opened.
- 4
Record the workflow state
Rename, share, schedule follow-up, mark consulted, or place the client in a group as the relationship progresses.
Expected result: The chosen name, group, follow-up, consultation, or share state is reflected on the client record.
- 5
Archive before deleting
Archive inactive records when recovery may be needed. Restore from archive, and reserve deletion for records that should be removed permanently.
Expected result: Archived records appear in the archived view and can be restored; deletion proceeds only through its confirmation state.
Watch the walkthrough
Find the intended client, activate their chart context, and record the consultation state. Ananya is active, her chart opens, and the success message confirms the consultation record.
Read transcript
Search for Ananya and select the intended synthetic client record. Confirm the place, follow-up state, Lagna, Moon, and Dasha context in the client rail.
Choose Open client to carry Ananya into the dashboard and verify that her Birth Chart is now active.
Return to the client record and choose Mark consulted today. The success message confirms that the consultation state was recorded.
Import safely
Use preview as the decision point. Correct rejected rows and duplicates before import, and never upload a real client file to a demonstration or support environment.
After import, spot-check several profiles for local time, resolved place, and timezone before generating client work.
Selection changes the entire dashboard
The active client powers charts, dashas, reports, matching, and personalized tools. Verify the displayed name before every paid generation and export.
Open related artifacts from the client record when possible so the subject context stays visible.
Consent and retention
Collect only the personal data needed for the agreed service. Obtain consent before sharing charts or reports and follow the applicable retention and deletion policy.
Troubleshooting and recovery
An import contains rejected rows
Download or review the row-level reasons, correct the source file, and preview again. Do not manually guess missing birth times.
A client disappeared
Clear filters and search the archive before creating a duplicate. The legacy Saved route redirects to Clients.
Frequently asked questions
Should I delete a client after a consultation?
Use your consent and retention policy. Archive when the relationship may continue; delete when retention is no longer justified and dependent data has been handled.
Terms used in this guide
