Three sample readings for fictional people. Each one gives the short answer first, then the reason, the timing and simple remedies.

Should I change my job this year?

The short answer
Yes, change your job — the chart supports it, and your career foundation is strong enough to carry it. But the honest window is from 19 December 2026 onward.
Why
Your career house is strong — Jupiter sits there. What is strained is the day-to-day: Mars in your work house makes the routine feel like a fight.
When
Your Mars period ends on 19 December 2026. On that same date, a Rahu period of new opportunity begins and runs until October 2029.
Simple remedies
  1. Chant Om Kraam Kreem Kraum Sah Bhaumaya Namah 108 times on Tuesdays.
  2. On Saturdays, give black sesame seeds or black cloth to someone in need.
  3. Visit a Hanuman temple on Tuesdays with an offering of red flowers.

When is a good time for us to marry?

The short answer
Your marriage window is real and it is dated: the strongest opening is 1 to 5 July 2028.
Why
The long delay you have felt is Saturn sitting on your marriage house, and that pressure lifts on 3 June 2027.
When
Strongest opening: 1 to 5 July 2028, inside the wider Venus stretch from March to August 2028.
Simple remedies
  1. Recite "Om Praam Preem Praum Sah Shanaischaraya Namah" 108 times every Saturday.
  2. On Thursdays, give a small daan of turmeric, chana dal or yellow cloth at a temple.
  3. On Fridays, offer white flowers or a small daan of rice and ghee at a Devi temple.

When will things get better in my life?

The short answer
Things get better starting now: the first real opening is 30 September to 3 October 2026, with a much cleaner, longer phase from July 2029.
Why
The heaviness you have felt is Saturn pressing on your Moon until 3 June 2027, not a permanent condition. Mars, now running your life for seven years, is strong in your chart.
When
The opening is now, its outcome shows in January 2027, and a cleaner phase begins in July 2029.
Simple remedies
  1. Recite Om Kraam Kreem Kraum Sah Bhaumaya Namah 108 times on Tuesday mornings.
  2. On Saturdays, give black sesame seeds, black cloth or mustard oil to someone in need.
  3. Visit a Hanuman temple on Tuesdays and Saturdays; light a lamp and offer a small garland.

Questions people ask

Short answers on calculations, privacy, pricing and birth time.

How exact are the calculations?

Every planet position comes from the Swiss Ephemeris, which is built on NASA JPL planetary data and used by most serious astrology software. We use Lahiri ayanamsa by default. Regression tests lock every calculation, so your kundli stays the same as we improve the app.

Which ayanamsa does Vedastram use?

Lahiri, also called Chitrapaksha, is the standard for Vedic astrology. The ayanamsa is a small correction that turns Western sky positions into Vedic ones. If you follow another tradition, you can choose a different ayanamsa in settings.

Where does my birth data go?

Your birth details are kept in your account. We use them only to make your kundli and readings. We never sell your data. You can delete your profiles and history any time.

How do credits work?

Free gives you one saved kundli and one basic question or report, such as career or marriage. Paid plans give credits every month. Higher plans add divisional charts, guided questions, exports and birth time rectification. Credits reset each month on your renewal date.

What is the refund policy?

If a paid report fails to generate, or a calculation is wrong, contact support for a credit refund. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. The Refunds page has the full terms.

What if I don’t know my exact birth time?

Enter your best guess. The more exact your birth time, the more exact your kundli, especially your lagna (rising sign). If you are not sure, our birth time rectification tool suggests a likely time range from events in your life and shows its reasoning at each step.
