What’s new
Everything we’ve made better since May, newest first.
Dasha periods now open down to Prana
Each deeper level is worked out the moment you open it, with exact start and end times, and the period running now is highlighted.
Answers now start with your reading
On a phone, the first screen of an answer now shows your reading, not a box restating its verdict, remedy planet and deciding facts.
Ask now remembers what you tell it
Add a line under your question about anything going on, and the next answer speaks to what is at stake for you and holds to its earlier reading or says what changed. Ask what it knows about you, or what your chart says about you, and you get a portrait of your life rather than a verdict.
The most likely stretch comes first
A when-question now opens on the few weeks most likely to bring it, then the wider period they sit in, then the days most likely to bring the turn.
Try itGood days with real dates
Ask for good days or a muhurta for something you are planning and get actual dates worked out for that activity, inside the span you asked about.
Try itRate any answer in one tap
Under every answer, tap Yes, or Not quite with a reason; Not quite opens the follow-up box, and a follow-up that fails is tried once more on its own.
No second charge for the same question
Ask the same question again within a day and the earlier answer carries on with no credit used, with Ask again anyway one tap away.
Answers for the person you mean
Type a newborn's or child's birth details into a question and Ask offers to save them and answers from their chart, and a question about a partner's work or support gets a concrete answer.
Ask checks back once the dates pass
Once the dates a reading gave you have passed, Ask asks whether it came true, with Yes, No or Not yet, and remembers your answer.
Answers follow your question, part by part
Your reading opens on what you asked: dates for a when-question, a clear lean for a will-question, the option for a which-question, and only the planets that decide the answer. A question about a relative stays about them, and a question about your own life stays about you.
Every part of your question answered
A question with two or three parts gets each part answered in order, in its own paragraph, and a reading that skipped one is completed before it reaches you.
Try itRunning periods, birth star and naming letters, directly
Ask for your running period at any level, your birth star, Moon sign, Lagna or the naming letters for your star, and the reading states it first, with its dates and times.
Try itReadings open on your question
The reading answers what you asked before anything else, keeps the lean your chart gives, and names only the transits that decide the answer; the full dated list still follows.
Your question stays about what you asked
A question about marriage, work, money or health is read as that, and a relative mentioned in passing no longer becomes the subject of the reading.
Follow-ups keep your own words
On the tool pages, Ask reads your follow-up as you typed it and keeps your everyday or astrologer view.
Ask for ten stars and get ten
A question that asks for a counted list of matching or attracting stars gets that many, best first.
Finished readings stay finished
Some finished divisional readings were marked as interrupted and ended with a stray note. They now finish cleanly, and while a reading is prepared the panel tells you it is synthesizing your chart details.
No false "interrupted" notice
A reading that has said everything it needs to is kept as it is, with no stray lines after its conclusion.
Try itClearer loading steps
While a reading is prepared you now see that your chart details are being synthesized, and Ask shows it is connecting your chart to your question.
Divisional, classic and match readings go deeper
Each reading links the chart's lords, houses and periods into one story told from your own chart, gives Saturn's cycles and every period their real dates, and closes with remedies worked out from your chart: the mantra with its count and day, the donation, and a plain call on the gemstone. While it prepares, the panel shows what it is doing instead of a still screen.
See each step while it thinks
Divisional, classic and match readings show what they are doing, from reading your chart to thinking it through, and take the time a deep reading needs.
Try itEach divisional chart as one story
A divisional reading connects that chart's lords, how each planet shifts from your birth chart and the axis it turns on, then finishes every section.
Try itClassic pages that connect the threads
Life Patterns, Nakshatra, Lagna & Houses, Planets, Spouse, Yogas, Bhrigu Bindu and Fortuna tie every area to its lord, its strength and its dates, and Sade Sati comes with its real dates.
Try itPeriod readings that tell how the lords relate
A dasha period reading tells its story from how its lords relate in your chart, third by third, with strength in words instead of percentages.
Try itMatch readings that explain every koota
A match reading starts from all eight kootas, the ten poruthams and both partners' Manglik picture, names each once in plain words, ranks the timing windows in words and never talks confidence.
Try itReadings that speak from your chart
No guesses about how you feel or what happened before, no generic disclaimers, credits or referrals, and Telugu and Hindi readings stay in their language to the end.
Every transit listed, in Telugu and Hindi too
Before the conclusion, a reading now lists every planet's transit from your Moon sign: which support you, which are held back, which test you, and the day each one moves on. Telugu and Hindi readings get the same list in their own words, and everyday readings get a dated list of what the coming weeks and months bring.
Rahu and Ketu read in every house
Every Rahu, Ketu, Sun and Moon transit from your Moon sign now says what it brings in daily life, and Rahu or Ketu in the 10th counts as a good transit.
"How's my day?" follows the day's sky
Questions about today or this week now lean the way the day's transits lean.
Delays come with when they ease
Ask why something is delayed, such as a marriage, and the answer now gives the window when it moves.
Try itThe years ahead, told to the end
Ask how the next few years will go and the answer now walks every period across them, each with its dates.
Telugu and Hindi questions about the months ahead
A Telugu or Hindi question about the coming months now gets the full transit list, with the planets named in your language.
Readings that commit
Readings no longer repeat the transit list or hedge with "no guarantee", and say which planet holds a transit back exactly as your chart shows.
Your past life answered, and every transit read
A past-life question used to be told the chart could not show one. It now gets the life before this one: the world you came from, how that life was most likely lived, what you carried in and still want, and how it shows in what you asked about, such as a delayed marriage. Readings about the present or what is coming now weigh every planet's transit, Rahu and Ketu included, with the date each one moves on.
Your past life, read from your chart
Ask what happened in your past life and the answer tells it from your D60 chart, Rahu and Ketu, the 5th house and your soul planet, then ties it to your question.
Try itPast Life Karma answers the question you ask
Choose Past Life Karma when you build a report and your question is still read for its own life area, with the past-life reading added.
All nine planets' transits counted
Readings weigh the transit of every planet from your Moon sign, notice when one planet blocks another's good transit, and give the date each one moves on.
Every question answered, even about your future partner
An answer no longer says the chart cannot tell. A question about a person, such as your future spouse, now gets the direction they most likely come from, the sounds their name most likely starts with and the work they most likely do, along with their nature. Follow-ups in Telugu and Hindi also stop repeating remedies already given.
No more "the chart cannot tell"
Every answer commits to a reading from your chart, in every language, and a question about an exact date gets the most likely window.
Where your partner comes from, their name and their work
Ask about your future spouse and the answer names the most likely direction, the first sounds of their name and their line of work.
Try itTelugu and Hindi follow-ups stay fresh
A follow-up in Telugu or Hindi no longer repeats the remedies or lines of the first answer.
Follow-ups go deeper, and readings speak your language
Each follow-up works out your new question afresh. It answers in its first line, reads any months you name, and tells you only what the earlier answers have not, without giving the same remedy again. An answer that runs long is finished before it is saved, so none stops mid-sentence.
Follow-ups tell you something new
A follow-up answers directly and adds new detail, dates and practical steps, without retelling the first answer or repeating its remedies.
Try itAnswers no longer stop mid-sentence
A long answer used to be cut off at its length limit. It is now completed before it is saved.
Ask about a month and that month is read
A question like "Is March or April 2027 a better start?" now reads those months, not the whole year.
Divisional chart readings in Telugu and Hindi
Divisional chart, Ashtakavarga, dasha and other chart readings now come in Telugu or Hindi when that is your language, as full as the English reading, and an English reading saved earlier no longer shows in their place.

Readings now tell you what life will bring
Answers used to walk through planets, houses and periods. They now describe your life: what each stretch will feel like, what it brings and the date it changes, and a question about your spouse describes how they look, their nature and their work. Astrologer mode keeps the full chart detail.
Your day, in plain words
Daily guidance says how today will feel, what goes well and what to watch, and the greeting on the Ask page names what this stretch brings and when it changes.
Try itClassic predictions read your life
Nakshatra, planet, house, dasha, yoga and divisional chart readings now say what each placement brings to your life and when, instead of explaining how it works.
Try itAsk about a moment: the answer, what to expect, the remedy
A question about a moment now gets the answer, how and when the matter will unfold, and the remedy, without the calculation.
Try itMarriage Matching describes your life together
A matching reading says where you will click, where friction may show up day to day, what each of you brings and when, with the match score stated once in plain words.
Try itName and number insights and energy balance, in plain words
These readings now say what your numbers and energy centres mean for your nature, relationships, work, money and health, and what to do.
Try itThe question you asked is the one answered
A question about an interview, an offer or a promotion is read as a career question, a question about your relationship with someone is read as your bond with them, and every answer opens with the chart's actual verdict.
Dated questions get their timing window
A question like "my final meeting is on October 23, will this turn into an offer?" used to be answered without any timing. The reading now reads the period around that date, and when the work was begun in an earlier, stronger period it says plainly that the result can still arrive in the current one.
Follow-up answers arrive again
Follow-up answers from the Ask button could stop before the first word on some models; they now stream the answer in full.
The answer stays in the chart
A reading never sends you to ask an employer, a doctor or an official instead; questions about workload, hours or family time are read from the houses and periods that govern them.
Every period carries its own dates, and no reading leaves a gap
When two periods share a sentence each now carries its own dates, so a sub-period is never read with its main period's years; and a reading no longer says the chart cannot tell or lacks details. When no single window stands out, the running period and the next supportive period are the timing.
Follow-ups are yours to ask
A finished reading used to offer suggested follow-up questions, one of them written in advance. Those are removed, so a thread holds only what you asked. The five follow-ups per reading, the question box and the budget dots stay exactly as they were.
Chart readings always show their state
Divisional chart, dasha, yoga and Ashtakavarga readings now say when they are connecting or reconnecting, a stopped reading keeps the text it had, and an error shows beside any partial text instead of replacing it.
Try itToday's guidance never leaves an empty space
If the daily guidance on your dashboard cannot be written, you now see a retry instead of a blank slot.
Try itAsk answers explain every stop
When an answer from the Ask button stops early or fails, the panel now always says what happened and how to continue.
Questions about family read from their own houses
A question about someone close to you is now read from the house that stands for them, so its dates and transits follow their matter instead of yours.
The corrected answer replaces the first draft
When an answer from the Ask button is checked and corrected, the corrected version now takes its place on screen as soon as it is ready.
No feelings or events you did not mention
Readings no longer describe worries, hopes or events your question did not state; the warmth comes from a clear answer, real dates and a steady close.
Court cases read from your side
Questions about a court case or dispute are now judged from your side of the contest, and the dates and remedies leave out what favours the other side.
Your dasha year setting now changes every date
Choose 365.25 days, the solar sidereal year or 360 days under Dasha year basis in Settings, and every dasha period date follows it.
Try itDates stay intact in Hindi and Telugu
When a Hindi or Telugu reading is corrected, its dates now stay exactly as they were written.
Same question, same answer, every time
Each reading now opens with the answer and names the one or two things in your chart that decide it. Timing comes as dated windows, and the remedies at the end are chosen for the planet the reading named.
Full readings in the same clear style
Readings that cover several life areas are now written the same way: the answer first, then the reasons, then what to do.
Fewer unexplained terms
Every reading is checked for periods without dates, unexplained terms and stock phrases, and corrected once when one slips through.
Period dates use the usual year length
Dasha period dates now use the same year length that Jagannatha Hora and Parashara's Light use by default.
Up to six life areas per full reading
Choose up to six life areas for one full reading; the report builder tells you when you have reached six.
Follow-ups stay open on every answer
An answer used to stop taking follow-ups a month after it was written. That limit is gone: open a report from months ago on Ask, or an earlier answer on a tool page, and ask your follow-ups the same way, with no credit spent.
Pick up any earlier answer with follow-ups
The answers you already have for this profile now appear under the question box. Tap one and it comes back with everything asked so far, ready for your next follow-up. After a new question, the previous answer can be picked up again the same way.
Follow-ups under every report on Ask
On the Ask page, a finished report now takes up to five follow-up questions beneath it, with the same budget, chips and question box as the tool pages.
Try it
Ask follow-ups on any answer, same credit
Under each answer, ask why, when, what to do, or anything of your own. Each follow-up appears as a numbered reading beneath the first answer, so the whole thread reads as one consultation. Only a new question costs a credit, and the button says so.
Ask about one sentence
Select any passage in an answer and tap Ask about this: the passage travels with your follow-up, so a short question is never ambiguous.

Answers on Ask stream steadily again
A connection inside Vedastram could stall for a minute or two and then deliver a whole answer in one go. It now reconnects within seconds, so your reading keeps flowing.
Improve rewrites your question again
Improve had been failing and asking you to retry. When its first model is busy it now switches to a second one, so the rewrite comes back in a couple of seconds.
Next year stays next year in your answers
Ask "Will I marry next year? I'm currently single" and the answer now reads next year, instead of only looking at today.
What you started earlier can still come through
Ask about a job, a deal or a proposal soon after a supportive period ends, and the answer sorts your options: what you set in motion earlier can still conclude now, while new starts are better begun in the next good window.
Readings start without the long wait
Classic predictions, divisional charts and dasha periods no longer sit silent for minutes before the first words appear.
Try itCharts open on your saved reading
Divisional charts, Ashtakavarga and dasha periods show the reading you already have instead of quietly writing a new one each time you open them.
Try it
Ask once and keep every Prashna answer
Type one question and Prashna answers from the chart of that moment, verdict first and ending with a remedy. Your recent questions stay on the page, free accounts can ask too, and your location is only used when you tap.
Your recent questions stay on the page
Open any earlier answer again, even after a refresh, and asking the same question twice in a day shows the first answer before spending a credit.
Try itFree accounts can ask Prashna too
A Prashna answer uses 1 credit on every plan, including the free one.
Try itYour location only when you tap
Prashna remembers where you asked from and never asks for your location until you tap Use my location.
Try itA failed answer gives your credit back
If an answer can't be written, your credit is returned, and a dropped connection reconnects to the saved answer.
Try it
Answers stay on the question you asked
Add your partner, a parent or a friend to a question, and the answer now reads the part of each chart that speaks to it. Timing comes in when you ask when.
Prashna Shastra gives a straight answer
Ask yes or no, when, where, or even what time someone was born, and Prashna now opens with the answer itself and starts showing it within a second.
Try itWhat’s new lives here
Every improvement, newest first, with a link to try it. When something new arrives, Vedastram shows you where it is, once.
A new home page
Real sample readings for fictional people, short recordings of the app, and the working behind an answer. It also opens much faster on phones.
Try it
Ask about the people in your life
Add up to nine people to a question, from family and your partner to friends and colleagues, and the answer reads their charts alongside yours. Send someone a link to add their own birth details, and see everyone on your People page.
One Ask button on every tool page
Open your chart, Panchang, Muhurta or any other tool and ask from right there. If your phone locks mid-answer, the answer keeps writing and is waiting when you come back.
Try itHindi and Telugu answers, in Hindi and Telugu
Ask in Hindi or Telugu and the whole answer now comes back in that language, on every plan.
Try itEvery answer ends with what to do
Answers about today, this week or this year now account for where Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu are right now, and every reading closes with remedies: a mantra, a puja, a donation or a temple visit.
Try itChange a report’s language in seconds
Switch a report to English, Hindi or Telugu and watch the translation appear as it is written. Even long reports finish in under half a minute.
Try itA weekly reading on the Ask page
Below the question box sits a short reading of where you are right now, refreshed every week, with three questions your chart points to.
Try itCleaner pages, smoother on phones
Page titles sit in the top bar, wide answers no longer shrink the page on a phone, and Back on a report takes you to your question.
Calculations checked against the classical texts
We audited the engine end to end and corrected the planetary strength tables, aspect rules and marriage-matching rules so they follow the classical texts. We also fixed a date slip that could make two readings of the same chart disagree.
Today’s guidance follows your clock
Guidance now uses your local day, so an evening abroad no longer shows tomorrow’s reading, and the full paragraph always shows.
Try itMatch reports keep their detail
The written relationship assessment in a match report now appears exactly as it was written for your two charts.
Try itEvery page recovers on its own
Each page has its own loading and try-again screen, disabled buttons say why, and the side rail shows labels.
Clear answers that end in remedies
Ask a question and the answer opens with a clear verdict, names the periods that matter and closes with remedies you can act on. It answers straight away instead of asking you to rephrase.
Plans and prices, in the open
Anyone can see our plans without signing in, priced in rupees in India and dollars elsewhere: Free, Starter, Premium and Pro, plus an Extra Report and a Marriage Match Pack.
